HGTV/MPLS URBAN OASIS.

HGTV is getting Hygge with it in Minneapolis with their Newest Urban Oasis Home Design Giveaway and it’s in my Neck of the Woods! Yea!

I’m such a sucker for these home giveaways. Entering daily in honor of my late Best Friend Crystal who got me hooked on the fun of what if’s. Though realistically the Cash Option sounds more appealing. But, this lovely 1920 home in the Hiawatha Neighborhood near the Beautiful Minnehaha Falls might be a keeper:)

I just love the exterior and green spaces that it offers and that Modern urban twist of a classic Minnesota Scandinavian Farmhouse. Which is such rich part of our heritage in the upper Midwest. It screams Minnesota.

The interior is definitely Simple Hygge comfort for those dark harsh winters we experience up here. Full of windows and welcoming nods to cozying up when the weather changes.

I will be honest at times the interior spaces do remind me of a High End Ikea showroom. It definitely was designed to appeal to the masses. If you want a true peek at one of my favorite Minneapolis styled homes, swing on over to Francois et Moi’s Instagram feed. Spot on.

But, overall spaces like above do capture Upper Midwest Modern, Minimal design.

My personal favorite room is the home office above. Minus the fur chairs:) I adore the brightness and contrast with light and pink. I would so love to be writing this post in there right now.

But, again the outdoor spaces has my heart a flutter. Us Minnesotans live for the warmer months and soaking up the best summers ever. Entertaining here would be delish to say the least.
