TODAY: AROUND HERE.

Sitting in the garage, yes that is a odd Texas thing. It’s like a extended family room with a table, chairs and a big screen T.V. mounted on the wall almost the size of a drive-in movie screen. I’m not kidding it is huge. Of course the garage door is open and the birds are singing excitedly in the background. A reminder that spring comes earlier to this Minnesota girl. It’s a glorious 67 with high of 74. I will take that on my day off or any day in fact.

Now to creative business at hand: I know its been quite sometime since I have written, no apologies here. It has been way intentional to say the least to focus on what I call my “the hidden life”. Time away from the everyday, everchanging of nature social media. My time away has been eye-opening and reflective. I will be honest, I have been a little apprehensive of coming back to blogging. But, now that I’m in college again and finally studying Graphic Design! It’s a pinch me moment, a longtime dream now happening. Which I can’t contain my excitement about being back at “home” on my blog.

A new but old landscape. Not much different than finding myself being back here in Texas after 7 years. Things have definitely changed, but what drew me here in the first place still lingers. It’s just little harder to find and the traffic is insane too.

Now with blogging I want to take a more niche approach. I have some good plans and A whole new arsenal of post ideas currently living in my steno pads and iPhone notes. More on all of that later. But, for now I just want to share that I am back. Even though I am little stripped down feeling as I create this post.

Not unlike this barren hill country winter branch. I’m focusing on the basics right now as I remember to hone my creative craft. Thank you for swinging by and will see you sooner than later.
